A couple things on my heart today,
What can we be doing today that was not done yesterday?
Live life as if each day is your last. Live life looking towards heaven! Heaven should be in our focus every day that we live and breathe.
Who is reaching out to those in need?
- Someone needs encouragement today.
- Someone is desperate today.
- Someone is hurting today.
- Someone might be thinking life cannot become more worse than how dire it seems.
- Someone needs you to reach them today.
Matthew 6:34 (KJV)
"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow
shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is
the evil thereof."
Whatever life brings, just remember God is in CONTROL!
He knows each and every situation in your life and he is working behind the scenes. You may not see it now but he making a way! In what might seem impossible, he can make a way.
Everything is for his GLORY. We are made to give him glory, he has a greater purpose in all things.
Everything is for his GLORY. We are made to give him glory, he has a greater purpose in all things.
They need what you have (They need an Acts 2:38 experience and to be in the presence of God to be renewed daily; we all need God's mercy and his peace that passeth all understanding); this world cannot satisfy.
Colossians 3:1(KJV)
"If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God."
Matthew 19:26
"But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
What man cannot do, God can do through you. He can use you in ways you never imagined. With God all things truly are possible.
I John 4:4
"...because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."
What is God saying to you to today?
Psalm 46:10(KJV)
"Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
We must have a deeper relationship with God. The closer we are to him the more we see things in the light that he sees things. He changes our perspective. We must be willing to accept change which obviously is not something our flesh wants.
Without change we cannot grow. Without change we remain stagnant. We must battle against the desires of our flesh daily. We are at war, this is a constant battle.
We must put on the whole armor of God.
Ephesians 6:10 - 18
10 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"
James 4:7
"Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
John 10:10 (KJV)
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"
We must not believe the lies fed to us by this world. The devil is a liar! We cannot become luke-warm in our walk with God. We cannot become complacent in our lives.
We only have one life to live. Give God your all, he desires to be closer to you! We are made to worship him! One life can make a difference in this world! There are souls to be won! God can turn any life around!
I am living proof that God can turn a life around.
My story:
At the age of 9 I received the gift of the Holy Ghost and was baptized in the saving name of Jesus! I grew up going through the motions. I was very lonely growing up because of taking things for granted. It took losing my father to cancer to turn my life around. My church was there for my family and I through that hard time. I did not show it, but God knew the turmoil in my heart. He was making me stronger through life's situations. God took the brokenness of this self and molded me and still continues to mold me. It took losing someone I cared about to make me to truly start walking with God. My walk with God had to be my own, it's up to no one else but yourself. I had to put my trust in God because he was my hope and still is my hope.
Joshua 24:15 (KJV)
"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
He was making me a new vessel for his use. I went on an AYC missions trip to Austria 2009 (about a year after). God starting working on my heart about missions again (my heart for the German speaking nations) and that his promises are still true for my life.
My heart is forever in Europe.

I had taken German classes in high school because I knew in my heart God had a greater purpose for my life. God kept working on me and helping me grow stronger in him. I went on another missions trip AYC Austria/Germany/Switzerland (2010; for a month). God kept tugging on my heart and my burden for Europe grew.
Then I got accepted to AYC missions trip to Switzerland/Liechtenstein 2012 where God lead me to meet my husband Zachary Bowles. God helped me see things more clearly. He changed me for the better!
We dated for a year and married on August 17th, 2013. My husband has been such a great encouragement and blessing to me. God brought me into something wonderful. God orchestrated everything his way, he brought me through. God keeps on blessing me! I couldn't be happier!
There's a point every low point. He let those things happen in order that he might use me for something bigger than myself (his purpose). Now I am still growing together with my husband and seeking God's will together as a family. God is preparing us for something great! God changed my life around and he can change your life around too!
Are we listening to God's voice?
1 Kings 19:11-13 (KJV)
12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.
13 And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?
God doesn't always speak with a loud boisterous voice, he often speaks in a still small voice. Like he spoke to Elijah, he spoke in a way Elijah did not expect him to."
Are we being lead of the holy ghost today?
Isaiah 48:17
"Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go."
We must be sensitive to the Holy Ghost. Wherever we are, be it home, at our job, at our school, or any place we may be, we must be ready to listen and act on what God tells us to do.Time is of the essence. Again, we must be vigilant and ready because time is short. No one knows when the Lord will come again.
Mark 13:32
"But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
Matthew 24:35
"Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away."
Are we going out of their comfort zone today?
Galatians 4:18 (KJV)
"But it is good to be zealously affected always in a good thing, and not only when I am present with you."
Luke 9:23(KJV)
"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me."
We must follow Jesus everyday.Romans 8:28 (KJV)
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."
Our purpose in this life is to serve God and reach the lost!
